There are so many wonderful writings and poetry written about our beloved canine companions.  Many dedicated to them, to their lives, to their deaths.  Many writing dedicated to those who love, shelter and rescue them.  And sadly, many  dedicated to the harshness and abuses far too many of them face in their life.
